adorable redhead with blue eyes Young caracal born at the zoo in Berlin on July
21, but officially they were introduced to the public only at the end of this
week.
Parents of kids become Sarek and Amanda (Sarek and Amanda), who arrived in the German zoo in 2004 from South Africa. Since that time,
this pair annually acquires new offspring.
These four kittens (two males and two females) is a rare subspecies of the South African Caracal Caracal caracal caracal, which makes these pups even more unique. Poet zoo staff are so proud of their achievements in the field of breeding these cats prey.
Interestingly, the name "Caracal" in Turkish language, means "black ear".
